Yes. The DraftSight Deployment Wizard provides this functionality. The tool is provided by the DraftSight Technical Support team. DraftSight Enterprise and DraftSight Mechanical customers should contact the partner from whom they purchased DraftSight who will raise a Service Request on their behalf. Please follow these steps to refresh the license information on the computer. It can resolve some activation problems. 

1. Ensure that DraftSight is not running. Browse to this location where the DraftSight serial number information is stored: ~/Library/Preferences/com.solidworks.licenses.serialnumbers.plist
2. Rename the above .plist file to "com.solidworks.licenses.serialnumbers.plist_old"
3. Start DraftSight again. It will prompt you to enter your serial number.
4. Follow the steps to reactivate your license. 

This error occurs when the license is already active on another computer. You must follow the steps below to deactivate and release the license from that PC before it can be activated on another PC.

Yes, SNL  licenses can be taken offline from SNL manager. This allows the user to launch DraftSight when they are not connected to the SNL Manager.

Yes, DSLS  licenses can be taken offline from Dassault Systemes License Server (DSLS). This allows the user to launch DraftSight when they are not connected to the DSLS.

DraftSight Professional and Premium can be activated simply by purchasing a serial number online and entering it during installation. An internet connection is required for this activation process.

For DraftSight Enterprise and Enterprise Plus packages, network licensing is offered, which requires a server-client setup for license activation. During the license purchase, you have the option to choose between SNL (SOLIDWORKS Network License) or DSLS (Dassault Systèmes License Server) for network licensing.

3DEXPERIENCE® DraftSight is automatically activated after purchase when you log in to the 3DEXPERIENCE® platform for the first time.

Upon the first launch of DraftSight after a new installation, you will be walked through an Activation Wizard. You will need your serial number and internet access to activate. In addition to an instant and automatic activation, you may also choose the manual email activation. Once DraftSight is up and running, you can also click on “Activate DraftSight…” under the Help menu to launch the Activation Wizard.
