How do I activate DraftSight?
Upon the first launch of DraftSight after a new installation, you will be walked through an Activation Wizard. You will need your serial number and internet access to activate. In addition to an instant and automatic activation, you may also choose the manual email activation. Once DraftSight is up and running, you can also click on “Activate DraftSight…” under the Help menu to launch the Activation Wizard.

How do I reset DraftSight license information on Windows?
Please follow these steps to refresh the license information on the computer. It can resolve some activation problems.
- Ensure DraftSight is not running. Browse to this location where DraftSight activation information is stored: C:\ProgramData\FLEXnet
- Rename folder named Flexnet to say Flexnet_old
- Restart DraftSight. You will be prompted to perform reactivation.
- Follow the steps to reactivate the license
Is there a network license solution for DraftSight Enterprise and Enterprise Plus on Apple Mac?
No. The SolidNetWork License (SNL) and DSLS network license manager solutions are only available on Windows operating systems.
